Capitalism of design finalized, We recover our usual logo in this January magazine that has a little of everything to face the year with joy. The British band visits us Tindersticks and a good handful of great groups and musicians of all shapes and sizes: music made from Valencia (Twelve, Serious and the Brutal Heart, Mireia Vives and Borja Penalba, Don't know…), Celtic punk cooked in Vancouver (The Real McKenzies), seventeenth rock (Gin Lady), reggae (Iseo & Dodosound), trash metal (A stateless angel) and music petard (Putilatex, Samantha Hudson). In the theater, the Teatre Principal sets the tone with three national works a priori interesting (Eyes that do not see, Owl y Villa and Mars) and is followed by the Olympia with Juan Echanove's version of the To be or not to be de Ernst Lubitsch, a premiere at the Sala Russafa that reflects on evil in a black comedy tone (The ugliest woman in the world) and dancing the death of La Phármaco in That's it. We will have new installments of the film festival Dona i Cinema and the graphic and sound self-publishing festival Tenderete; and exhibitions about the designer Pepe Gimeno, the urban artist Vinz Feel Free and the artist Joan Genovés. Besides, We discover some of the jewels kept by the Museum of Fine Arts of Valencia with the help of its director, We started a very gastronomic walk along Císcar Street, We cook one chococheese to lick your fingers, We taste Taiwanese food at Xiong He Jia and we propose a comic (The end of summer), A series (1899) and a board game (The thing) for lazy days at home. Who said January was a sad month??!
