Years ago, several musical projects are returning the spotlight to traditional music, enriching it with avant-garde and innovation. Sharing the heritage of a rich culture and territory for both language and musical tradition, the cross-border trio Don't know (re)unite the voices of Selma Bruna (San Cugat), Clara Fiol (Palma) i Sandra Monfort (Pebble) around traditional guitars and percussion for a possessed and feminine-inflected result. His second album, Jack to die (Propaganda by the Fact!, 2022), is the result of an investigation into the presence of death in the musical folklore of our linguistic domain: romances, balls de vetlatori, death rituals or work songs, sung in Spanish or Valencian. The trio demystifies death to pay tribute to life with songs full of vitality that take shape with majesty on stage. B.L.
