Festivals in baskets to survive the torrid summer that is upon us. Musicals have names like FAR, FIB, Pirata Beach Festival, Seven Suns Seven Moons o Rototom; the scenic ones focus on the new theater (stage) and in the classic (Sagunto in Scene), in addition to the circus (CIRD VORAMAR); and the cinema events are held outdoors in La Rambleta, in the cloister of La Nau (Summer nights) or in Turia's bed (Summer Film Library). But we must not forget small pearls like the concerts of Rufus Wainwright, Wolfmother, Pet Shop Boys i Judas Priest, or the musical Cabaret. Without a doubt, the great exhibition of the summer is that of the IVAM, a permanent exhibition dedicated to proudly displaying its valuable collection under the title The IVAM collection to date. But there are more and very interesting ones: the exhibition dedicated to the abstract artist Gustavo Torner and to the collector Avelino Marin, or the one who remembers how the Franco regime allowed bikinis on the beaches of Benidorm only if foreign women wore them (Down with the regime).
