The performing arts stand out in particular thanks to essential festivals such as Russafa Scenic, he MIM from Sweden i Loops, which will be the finale for the cycle Leather scenes (with Bob Pop, Pamela Palenciano, Eduardo Casanova, Erik Harley…) and for such interesting works as The holy innocents i Kisses. The musical section is marked by very different festivals: together, which claims minimalism and experimentation in its 48th edition; Visor Fest, with Manic Street Preachers headlining the bill; i ThunderLightning, a space where women and dissidents have a lot to enjoy. The band, the super concerts of The Waterboys, Plasticine Mosh, Kitty, Daisy & Lewis, Nik West (on the cover) i Sugar. As for the cinema, we will have a cycle on migrations CaixaForum, Avant-garde cinema in the garden within the incredible natural space of Todolí Citrus, the Merda Film Festival (CIM) of Sueca and a new edition of Cinema and human rights and Your Day, by Amnesty International. Antonio Palomino, Rubens i The Albufera of Valencia occupy the three major exhibitions this summer, and we will have proposals around digital culture (LaDemo), contemporary art (Open Valencia) and the state of the world today (worlds to come). Not bad to start the season!
