Corona, 35 (Valencia)
When the flood flooded a large part of L'Horta Sud, Totenart suffered serious damage to his warehouse. But this family business, founded on 1995 per Olga, I already knew what it was like to start a project from scratch. No capital or experience, but with the support of his passion for the fine arts, Olga created a shop specializing in printmaking and serial art that, with time, has come to provide service throughout Europe. In addition to providing materials for all artistic techniques, offers advice, tutorials and specialized content for professional artists, fans and students. An open window to art, from its website and from the Carme neighborhood. During the most complicated days after the dana, what moved the Totenart team the most was the solidarity received: client(e)s who waited patiently, supplier(e)s who helped without asking for anything in return and individuals who collaborated in the recovery. This collective strength has reinforced his conviction that art also builds community. In an environment increasingly dominated by mass leisure, Totenart is committed to a cultural and specialized trade. Despite the obstacles, they have raised the blinds again, and they have done it with the same spirit that has brought them here: commitment, constancy and a lot of passion for art. After hard months of work and recovery, his philosophy remains: “It is not said little by little, es diu step by step”. Always forward and with art. MARÍA DE QUESADA
