Culture and art combine with scientific dissemination in theOceanFest to bring marine biodiversity closer to us. In the session Dust Guardians [20], for example, top-level communicators will talk about the role of polar ecosystems in the global climate balance. The next day, specialists with experience in Antarctica will focus the session tide of change [21] in exploration and scientific communication in extreme places. The podcast will also be recorded live WATIF, with the disseminator Fish Memories as a guest, to deal with the geopolitics of the oceans and the strategic role of an Arctic that, with the thaw, it is opening up new sea routes and making the coveted rare earths accessible. Hence the push by the United States to take over Canada and Greenland. the photographer Sergio Izquierdo will give a workshop on the image as a tool to tell stories about the ocean and raise awareness about its conservation; i the illustrador Victor Soler will lead a workshop focused on illustration as a language to observe, interpret and communicate the marine environment.
