Faced with the climate catastrophe, the challenges posed by AI and new forms of totalitarianism, the UPV invites us to think about the current situation in order to find out possible lines of future action in the meetings worlds to come. This year's guests will be Asuncion Molinos Gordo [24/9], the artist who centers his work on the figure of farmers and questions the concept of innovation that dominates the discourse. The activist Yayo Herrero [26/9], well known, will advocate in his conference for an anthropological revolution from an ecosocial point of view, and the Italian philosopher Roberto Esposito [16/10] he will explain his theory on how excessive protection can end up destroying common life. Javier Gil i Aníbal G. Arregui [3/10] will discuss the housing crisis and multispecies anthropology; i Cecilia Rikap i Vasleska David [31/10] they will analyze the current digital economy, ruled by intellectual monopolies of the big technological companies, as well as other aspects around the current geopolitical crises: threats to democracies and the future of international law, among others.
