Nunca he visto un azul como el del mar de Grecia, un azul que parece pintado al óleo, tan escandalosamente intenso que no es real. Thalassa significa mar en griego. Thalassa, thalassa, thalassa. Casi lo huelo, casi veo el azul. Estoy lejos, pero desde esta terraza tranquila y soleada me llega algo de allí: un bocado divino de pan caliente con taramosalata o paté de huevas de pescado me devuelve el color y el sabor de ese mar surrealista; las Filling (Rice stuffed parra sheets) and the spanakopita (Feta spinach crispies) me devuelven el sol y el ambiente de esas islas; a musaka and the baklavá insuperables me devuelve por fin Grecia entera. Cierro los ojos y escucho el mar. Thalassa, thalassa, thalassa. MADAME G
