A few months ago theCabinet of the Memory, LGTBI historical memory service of the Generalitat Valenciana, makes visible the collective's legacy through the recovery of archives and dissemination activities. An essential task to remember the struggles, collective and personal, without forgetting the fun, art or leisure spaces, of cruising or of suffering within a Valencian society that has been changing over time and social advances. As a starting point for this year's activity season, Wardrobe launches the SuperSarau, a party under the gaze of Sara Montiel, whose songs have often been the protagonists of cabaret scenes queer of yesteryear and continue to be. Presented by Maria Juan and Lluís Mosquera, the party will travel the timeline remembering the Valencian transformation of the seventies and eighties with Antonio Campos, better known as La Margot, the activism and lesbian memory of the nineties and 2000 with Lluïsa Notario and Boti García Rodrigo, and artistic claims underground of the eighties and nineties of the transgender artist Rampova through the staging of the furniture and costumes that she personalized. The party will be enlivened with musical interventions by the Hidrogenesse duo as a thread that weaves the past into the present and pride in the claims of Valencian LGTBI history. More than a party: a celebration made of sequins and empowerment to bring citizens closer to a history that is often hidden and make it well known. B.T.
