The Russafa neighborhood is losing its cultural muscle in favor of nightlife and hospitality, art galleries disappear that don't finish curdling while a new restaurant opens, and another… This dynamic has moved the Russafa Room to launch #RussafaCrea, a cycle of periodic meetings with agents who energize and generate culture in the neighborhood. In December, the initiative was started by three writers who publish with Tusquets, and in January a turn of the rudder will mark the encounter with the plastic arts. They will bid on the platform Lanevera, a multi-functional space - also an exhibition - specialized in screen printing; the artist Elena Marti, who creates wonderful works from his workshop in Russafa, one of which is exhibited at the Center del Carme inside d’Contemporary art of the Valencian Government IV; the coordinator of the biennale Russafart (which returns in June!), Aristides Rossell, and the moderator, Jose Ramon Alarcon, from the magazine Makham.
