Almudaina, 9 (Covered Cross)
In the Covered Cross, a few meters from the Parc Central and the Macosa warehouses (dedicated to railway construction), bordering the train tracks that are being buried, the headquarters that uses Versonauts to create and test. In October it will become, officially, in Almudaina, a cultural space open to the city that hosts poetry evenings, workshops, sound art, performances, regular theater classes, writing or music and any worthwhile artistic project. They already have programming closed until January, and everything starts on October 2 with the second season of Gulusmeo [2/10- 7/5], an event that is celebrated on the first Friday of each month and is born from the words “gluttony” and “snoop”. “Gulusmear” is to be curious about what is being cooked., generally, sticking your nose into pots and pans. It is the idea of this culinary reading club promoted by the collective Umami: unite art, thought and gastronomy from reading fragments of different books related to culinary matters. Then a debate begins, while diners taste wine and some dishes related to literary material and legends are discovered, traditions, ancestral recipes or gastronomic experiments. AU
