Cassette is a new weekly party powered by our beloved Toxicosmos DJ, which will play indie classics from the 1990s and 2000s together with the music of bands that keep that sound alive today. International groups that have marked several generations around the world will play there (Pulp, Oasis, Sonic Youth o The Cure…) and highlights of the national scene, with Los Planetas, Surfin’ Bugs, Dorian, Lori Meyers or the Valencians The Red Room. But this is not about nostalgia (only), current indie will also be heard, el de Fontaines D.C., Wet Leg, Shego with Carolina Durante, in the company of guests as illustrious as Julio Ruiz, of the mythical program Large Disk of Radio 3, who will be present at the opening on Saturday 10/10. Cassette claims the original indie sound and the spirit that beat behind it, combining generational anthems with less obvious songs. AU
