The Fragments project of the Union of Journalists will go ahead in March with a workshop to learn how to create a photography book, two exhibitions in the MuVIM —a group of students from the EASD and another of Carlos Aguilera— and four video conferences. The Coruña Lua Ribeira will reveal, in an online session, how she understands photography and how she has developed her way of doing and seeing [1/4], and will do the same Cristina Middel [8/4], photographer who questions stereotypes by blurring the border between reality and fiction. After ten years as a photojournalist, Middel decided to move away from traditional ways and produced in 2012 the acclaimed series The Afronauts (of which we saw a brushstroke in the exhibition Questions and answers from the Center del Carme in 2019), documenting the Zambian space program 1964. An exotic historical anecdote that is used to highlight the prejudices and stereotypes associated with the entire African continent.. Already in face-to-face format, the murcian Juan de la Cruz Megías (award for the best portfolio in PhotoEspaña In the year 2000 for your wedding photos) will reflect on the profession of photographer, the state of the profession and the construction of one's own visual memory [14/4], y Carlos Aguilera will offer a talk related to his winning project of the III Fragments Scholarship, Students in Benejúzar, about the holidays, the photograph, it shabby, the pasodobles and the garages [21/4].
