Bétera bean

tastaldaci.com

We're fully into the spring season and, that's why, we bring you this traditional variety with a beautiful flower, the Bétera bean, which is typified and collected by Valencian catalog of traditional varieties of agricultural interest. The Bétera bean has been selected by Bétera farmers for more than a hundred years and has given rise to long pods with seven or eight beans, sweet and very tasty. Beans are an ancient spring crop, which has also been used for foliage for animals and, in some old recipe, also for humans. The big ones, the bean, they are very nutritious both tender and dry (which are preserved all year). Find more information and how to get the seed in our article at tastaldaci.com. XAVIER BENAVENT
