A brand new festival arrives in the city that is loaded with well-known names in the literary scene (especially) and musical at the state level. Because the goal, precisely, is to explore the ties that unite these two artistic disciplines, discover the music that writers listen to and the books that inspire musicians to create. The Arts will be the focal point of the meetings, but the program will also spread throughout the city's municipal libraries where workshops on composition will be held, interpretation and cultural management such as that of Benjamin Prado, who will reveal the secrets of the musical composition of his famous lyrics for Joaquín Sabina.
Two prominent figures of Valencian culture to start the event. The journalist Manuel Vincent and the singer Sole Gimenez will star in the inaugural conversation recalling the works that have most influenced them in their work. The bulk of the program takes place on Saturday. The filmmaker and writer Rodrigo Cortes I the pianist Juan Pérez Floristán they will talk about rhythm and tempo in their original and transgressive works; the degan of Berklee Escola, Simone Pilon, and the writer and journalist of The country Jesus Ruiz Mantilla they will talk about Woodstock, the counterculture and its impact on education. Besides, Les Arts will host a three-way meeting between Vetusta Morla's lyricist and guitarist, Guille Galvan, the writer Lucia Lijtmaer and the chronicler Fernando Navarro around the rock, pop culture and sources of inspiration. Already on Sunday, the novel·list Elizabeth Benavent (Beta Flirty) will talk about how music and rhythm run through his bestselling books; the singer Carmen Linares (Princess of Asturias Award 2022) the poet Antonio Lucas they will talk about emotion, cant i poesia; and the writer Manuel Vilas (recent winner of the Christmas Award) and the guitarist Pablo Sainz Villegas will lead a talk with memory and poetry as a backdrop. On Friday and Saturday, the days will close with live music and meetings will be held every day to be able to talk one-on-one in small groups with Manuel Vicent, Sole Gimenez, Rodrigo Cortes, Guille Galvan and Carmen Linares (here, cal reserve).
