FAM, talent i gana!

It may seem like FAM (@fam_vlc) it's just one Instagram profile, but it is the welcome door to the idea that connects the roots to the earth, its culinary transformation and the concept of a product.

Few people know that the noun valencian talent not only does it have the well-known meaning of 'great ability to make certain things succeed', but also, in female, the talent, is synonymous with 'hunger' and 'desire to eat' - saint Vicent Ferrer said in his sermons that if we saw a pure soul we would look at it so intently that we would not have talent does not set does not sound. And it is that Ana Climent, the spirit of the FAM project, brings together and combines the two meanings of talent to perfection.

Designed for those with gana to create and share taula, Ana decided a year ago to break the monotony she had with her father and mother in order to train them to show us the horticultural products of each season and the recipes associated with them in a neo-rural package to make it attractive to urbanites.

At first glance you might not notice it, but if you look at the three canonical columns of his Instagram you will find that each line talks about a product in three different ways. In the right column we find the bare product, surrounded by its original landscape: You know what the leaves of a persimmon tree look like? In how many bunches do the olives hang?? And the colors of the eggplant flower?

In the central column we find the same product in a conceptual way in an impasse between the field and the kitchen. A trove of evocative and provocative images that reveal the beauty and complexity of many products that we put in our mouths every day.

I, lastly, in the left column we find the culinary creations with the same product. A collection of recipes that often end the proposed cycle in a very original way.

Through the stories have come to convene a first #DinarFAM with a handful of guests from various generations and technological levels who shared a table with a common point: learn from each other (persimmon pickling workshops, pick cocoa or sweet potatoes and make gin and tonic with grapefruits picked by themselves).

The Houses of Quilis (the Coastal) it is the place where the first #DinarFAM took place, to pray for a very suggestive country house. Stay tuned to FAM's posts because he'll be surprising us with another mouth-watering call soon.
