slippery knots

UNTIL FRIDAY 6/12
GAL. ROSA SANTOS. Carrasser, 1

slippery knots is the proposal presented by the Rosa Santos gallery to Abierto València, with the work of six women of different origins and generations who work with ceramics. It is not our intention to sweep home, but the Villenense dazzled us Patricia Varea Milan, who, altering the firing processes of clays and porcelains, achieves small tonal and metallic nuances in pieces that recreate fossils and seeds. Close to your pieces, the colorful seabed of the viguesa emerges Emilia Guimerans. She and Patricia trained in Japan and Korea with teachers, hence they characterize the technique, the formal synthesis, ash and fire control. In the case of Guimeráns, to be able to experiment with matter and embrace imperfection. Nagore Chivite, Marina González Guerreiro, Sandra Mar, Cello Matesanz y Nerea Puente they complete a most interesting ceramic exhibition. S.M.
