The Bancaja Foundation faces the summer with the José Manuel Ballester National Photography Award. It houses a selection of the exhibition that Tabacalera organized a few years ago with digital photography (His manipulation possibilities fit with his painter's mentality) in large format of natural and industrial landscapes, museums and hidden places that avoid the narrative. In Ballester's work the human figure is conspicuous by its absence, because prominence is everything for architectural space, time and light.
