With a friendly and colorful tone, spending the tools of the pop art, Joan Verdú gently slipped scathing criticism full of humor and irony into his works of art. rabbits, Warhol, James Bond, Raquel Welch, the advertising, Mafalda and the written word play with the viewer in Bonus track to send him a message far removed from what he expected. In Swisshh use a medicine cabinet with the colors reversed (white cross and red background) to denounce Swiss banking secrecy, converts a STOP signal into a POTS, and fiercely criticizes the world of art by subverting typical drug advertisements (“Read the instructions for this work of art and consult a critic”). Pieces from his last exhibition and others made exclusively for the occasion - some unfinished - are part of this exhibition with which La Nau pays a posthumous tribute to a little-known artist who never married anyone.
