DYSTOPIAS. JUAN CUELLAR

THE SHIP. University, 2

The painter Juan Cuellar (Valencia, 1967) has made several series of drawings on paper around dystopia in recent years. Just quote Gap, one of the best known. He has not lacked reasons; from the absolute triumph of capitalism in recent decades to the causes it has provoked, such as the most recent economic crisis of 2009, the artist's point of view has been stopping at a whole rosary of collateral effects that have caused situations that can be described as "dystopian". The exhibition catalog reproduces all the images that make it up and the curator's texts, Vicente Pla, i by Rafa Martínez, regular contributor to AU. ESTEBAN PATRICIO
