Federico García Lorca himself never knew how prescient his work was. So five years go by, well five, just five, were the years that passed from when he finished it until he was murdered in his homeland. The premonitory and magical character come together, in this piece, to the beauty of the texts, creating a true legend of time, as Lorca subtitled it. It tells us about love perpetually postponed, a love that its author amassed with the elusive and terrible material of dreams. We have in front of us the most modern theater of what will always be one of the great poets of our history, to which the National Dramatic Center and Atalaya have wanted to pay tribute. They do it with exquisite and enigmatic staging, impregnated with an intoxicating poetic breath, a suggestive scenic space with impressive plastic strength, creating an exciting and hypnotic show that has already been described by critics as the best version of this text.
