The main function of this book, as we read, is to help those who approach him to improve and maintain healthy habits, avoiding the frustration that accompanies us when abandoning them.
And, above all, as I say in the book, not doing things at a certain time because I want to achieve a specific result, but to generate habits that allow them to be maintained over time, which will give me more feeling of happiness, to find myself better, to improve self-esteem and I will feel more comforted.

Without willpower and sacrifices we will not be able to follow the diet that we propose by our own will or that of the nutritionist.. Tell us about it.
I think it's much easier than we all imagine., but it has to do with the word diet. That is to say, if I want to take care of myself, obviously, It is very important to go to a professional that suits me, to my needs, to my goals, to my day to day situation, and it is much easier to maintain those habits than we imagine.; What happens is that we start from the feeling of diet, of "I'm going to go hungry", from "My God", How long can I last?; Let's see when I'm done.", That's what gives me that feeling of I don't have enough capacity, I have to motivate myself, It's going to be a tremendous load of energy.. Really, when it becomes a habit, like all the habits that we carry out in our daily lives since we are little, By becoming a habit in itself it does not imply a charge of energy, It's much easier to do and maintain.

Also among the objectives of this book are learning to manage our emotions, work on beliefs and take care of our limiting thoughts. Next to nothing.
Of course, because usually what we do is I feel bad I am stressed, I'm nervous, I'm angry…, and they have taught me to cover it; Besides, it's something historical., as deeply rooted in our culture, through food; how many times have we been told when we feel bad: «oye, "Have a hot glass, it will go away.". The problem is that it doesn't go away. As adults, what we have done to the best, It is managing emotions poorly and it is one of the main problems. Since we are born, all the imputs we receive through words that tell us, through experiences we have, through beliefs that our parents consider valid, what our friends and our surroundings sneak into us, It is what makes us sometimes not believe that we are capable of doing more things than we are capable of doing or to break those limiting thoughts of things that tell us that we cannot do them when we can do them..

One of the most interesting resources is that it advises us to keep a diary with the objectives (realistic), advances and setbacks.
Of course, because we need to recognize what we have advanced. That is to say, The first thing I have to know is what my objective is, why do I want it, How am I going to feel when I get it?; this is very important. Those people who are also very visual need to visualize themselves like this. Then, If every day I am able to recognize everything I have advanced, it will be more positive for me.. It's a bit like what is done in schools with happy face and at home too: if you behave well, If you brush your teeth...

The little star…
The little star, the happy face. That's important. Us, as adults, Let's put on those medals because it's worth recognition and a pulse., when I am in a process that sometimes costs me a lot.

The dog's cookie when he has been good.
Yeah, but it's not so much about carrot and stick, but to recognize my worth and the effort I am making and what I am achieving. It's not about the prize, But I already got the prize in the process..

The trick to creating new (and healthy) habits is to acquire them little by little... Big changes require more time, it isn't true?
I believe that if we start with small steps, This is what we were talking about about setting an objective to reach a goal.. If I go directly to that goal, I may not feel capable., I got frustrated and didn't get it. Bueno, Well, I'm going to see how small I have to give to generate it.. It's like...

The Camino de Santiago?
Yeah, the one I'm going to do, by the way. This is the same, small stages, I am going to walk little by little to see myself strengthened, see what I have achieved, take those small steps that will take me to the final goal.
