The legendary band The Waterboys, led by the frontman y compositor Mike Scott, left his mark on the history of pop music thanks to This Is The Sea (1985) y Fisherman’s Blues (1988). Two superlative albums that gave shape to a sonic wave that the British press called “the Big Music”. Now, Forty years later, have launched Atlantic Rain, a three-disc compilation that has remastered the essence of hours of music composed, rehearsed and recorded on the west coast of Ireland during that year 1988. A musical break that surpassed punk rock to be seduced by the influence of traditional Irish music.
