Cardoons with almond sauce

RECIPE

Ingredients:
1 jar of clean and cooked thistles 2 cloves of garlic Parsley A handful of fried almonds.

Preparation:
· The idea is to simplify this recipe as much as possible and obtain a spectacular result, so fresh thistles will be avoided, what needs to be cleaned, fray and cook. It would take a long time and it is not necessary to waste it when there are high quality canned thistle.
· For a start, open the jar and drain the thistles. Heat a splash of extra virgin olive oil in a frying pan., add chopped garlic and, before they brown, add the cardoons along with the chopped parsley and fried almonds, previously crushed in a mortar. Sauté for a minute and… magic! You now have a tasty, very typical Christmas dish, but one that can be eaten comfortably all year round..
