Three great festivals mark the cultural heartbeat of the city this June. Cinema Jove (cover of our printed AU) A new edition starts as a cinematographic reference for our Valencian Country with interesting sections such as the one dedicated to electronic music or the young Brian de Palma. The second festival is Third Week, whose theatrical programming is a little more international than previous editions (Chile, Mexico, Uruguay, Greece, Iran and, above all, France…) and includes big names from the national scene such as Nacho Guerreros and Marta Pazos. The third, he Arts Festival, It is musical and looks set to become an annual event for Valencians., this year with performances by Lori Meyers, I send Diao, Crystal Fighters, The Red Room… We also do not forget the Tagomago Fest, reference of electronics and experimentation in these parts. The exhibition section is also strong because, In addition to the inauguration of two new galleries –Sabotage Gallery dedicated to urban art and illustration and Nude Gallery focused on photography–, We have half a century of Valencian artists at the IVAM, a Monika Book at the Chirivella Soriano Foundation, to the Japanese landscaper Hiroshige Katsushika in the MuVIM and Juan Cuellar In the Nau. And the Proposta section is already known, The heat arrives and germinates like a beast: Russafart, the japanese festival Natsu, Revival dedicated to philosophy, Vociferio to poetry, Encounters from PICUV reflects on culture and artistic development in the city, Tenderete for graphic and sound desktop publishing, the Celebrate Alternative, the Valencia Tattoo Convention and the Tremenda Fem Fest from Vila Real. Not a day of rest, Listen.
