FROM FRIDAY 9 ON THURSDAY 22/5

If you are reading this it is because you trust in the role of art as a trigger for social change. This is how we see it, and this is how they conceive it from the festival 10 Senses in this fourteenth edition that shouts out for our world. A bet in which living arts fuel a new relationship with the planet. “Living nature” is the motto of a contest that begins at the Center del Carme with The seasons are no longer by Vivaldi [9], a rereading of Vivaldi's music where he dances, Thought and music invite us to reflect on the fragility of our planet. We will see greats of the scene like Romeo Castellucci in The Third Reich [14 y 15], a limit sensory experience about the need to communicate and stop this frenetic pace in which we live.

The festival pays special attention to Africa, with several proposals among which we highlight the premiere of Flood [16] of Cut Dance, which establishes a choreographic dialogue between the devastating floods in Durban (South Africa) and the cold drop of 29 of October in Valencia; o ROINING [11] by the Mozambican choreographer Idio will be, who presents an emotional exploration of African migration and the search for identity through dance. With the aim of exploring dialogues between dance and other disciplines, we find Back input [10] in the Botanical Garden, a triptych of passions that, through three duos, explores the complexity of relationships and the nature of love. The closing day will be in Rambleta of the hand of Jérôme Bel [22], Parisian artist who offers his personal account of a life dedicated to dance, from which it has always dealt with the issue of ecology. Exhibitions, facilities, a drawing contest and workshops complete a program that explores possible links between living arts and nature, science and culture, economics and humanism. GLORIA POZUELO
