The Gay Games land in Valencia for the first time since its creation on 1982 and everything indicates that they will be a success. They have registered 9.000 participants from 76 nationalities to compete in dozens of sporting disciplines ranging from football, swimming or petanque tennis. But people not registered in the official competition can also participate in the party, signing up for the International Rainbow Memorial Run that will cover three kilometers along the bed of the Túria, or join the group cheerleaders, that will enliven the atmosphere everywhere.
