In these pandemic times everyone manages as best they can. In 2020, the living arts festival 10 senses had to relocate and stretch its programming, from September to December, to make a large throw to the health crisis and move forward. With everything we have learned in these months and in the face of the uncertainty that continues to reign worldwide, the festival directors, Inma García and Maritxell Barberà, they have given up on international artists (great bastion of the festival) to focus on home. The motto that will guide the programming will be “Borders”, an umbrella, sometimes transparent, which aims to bring together artists who promote the critical spirit, social consciousness and new artistic codes. The proposal of the duo of sound artists walks in this sense. Cabo San Roque, Brossa did not make me [14-16/5], a sound and plastic installation made to be visited by the viewer who explores the most unknown prose of the poet Joan Brossa. Dance continues to be the spearhead of the festival. Will repeat Rocio Molina, National Dance Award 2010 and one of the Spanish artists with the greatest international projection, before which Mikhail Baryshnikov himself has kneeled. Will present Impulse (confession of the flesh) on thursday 13/5 in the Monastery of San Miguel de los Reyes, an improvisation exercise in which you give free rein to the wildness that every creative act gives off.
