Cabanyal Íntim brought Noelia and Nadine together to create their Voramar Fanplastic project. A sustainable triple impact brand: social, environmental and economic, recently awarded in the 6th edition of the Valencia City Council's public accelerator in Las Naves. From the Cabanyal they make designer bags created from waste. Trouble, but what if I tell you that, in addition to, Voramar integrates the work of women in vulnerable situations in the city of Valencia? This is already a prize because they work women older than 45 years with difficulties to access the labor market due to their gender or their age. From a single-use plastic bag, they obtain a useful product with infinite uses that takes time to decompose in nature around 400 years. The products are 100% hand-woven with crochet - a traditional technique in danger of extinction - by these communities of vulnerable women. Nadine loves to see the magic that lies in the transformation of the plastic bag into a bud and, finally, in a renewed and original product. Noelia loves knitting with women, listen to stories and laugh with their anecdotes while they shape the bags. If they have to choose a model, they choose the AIXA bottle holder and the ÀRIA mobile phone case: super useful! Ecodesign and the circular economy are not a fad, they are the only option for sustaining the planet, child(e)s. Let's go to Voramar fashion? MARÍA DE QUESADA
