New edition of this meeting of encounters called Mostra Viva which aims to connect the cultures of the towns bathed by the Mediterranean. The presence of artists from the Valencian Country is, for obvious reasons, overwhelming, but in addition there will be twenty countries represented, such as the Balkans or Sardinia at the concerts of the Teatre El Musical, for example. It will be of Sarajevo of Sufi Ensemble Medudija (Bosnia) is a show where the traditional music of Bosnia is combined, Bosnian Sufi music and dance of the dervixs; and in the evening with Franca Owners we will listen to popular tradition from Alghero, old Sardinian and Neapolitan songs and some compositions of his own. Gastronomy is present for the first time (to be!) in Mostra Viva with the presentation of the Guide gastronomic of Valencia migrant and the cooking workshops of Turkey and Morocco in Drassanes 52. Inside the Mediterranean Dance Gathering, the ballet of Sara Guirado will revive the dances of ancient Egypt together with the Valencian traditional music association Glue the Craving, i l’Meeting of Mediterranean Writers will open with the actor’s poetic reading Hector Alterio. The exhibition once again hosts the full program of the circus festival Valencirc (see page. 19), which this year will feature the performance of Hamza El Alouani of Cie Cerclhom (Morocco). Last, we highlight the debates on creative women and the future of young people in the Mediterranean; and the exhibition The sea of il lustrades with works d’illustrators of a large part of the Mediterranean countries.
