All goals point towards the Mediterranean Sea in the fifth edition of ValenciaPhoto. Cradle of civilizations, he Sea it has been a nest of commercial and cultural exchanges that the Valencia photography festival analyzes in May from a contemporary prism. The aim is to focus on geopolitical challenges, environmental, migratory and social that cross the region through images that unite or stress Mediterranean identities. The photographer born in Montpellier Theo Combes analyzes the migratory flows that pass through France in one of the important exhibitions, Black Mediterranean, to the Center del Carmen. Other exposures of weight will be Will(e)s mirage, organized by theMoroccan Association of Photographic Art; i Sud, on Didier Ben Loulou shows that a street in Jaffa is not so different from one in Palermo. Italy will also be present at the festival, within the Museum of History exhibition dedicated to Italo Zannier, a photographer who dedicated his career to the study of Italian neorealism.
