Happiness is a craft brewery and a project that was born between doctoral theses, ecological research and a shared passion. Guille and Irene started brewing beer for hobby, sharing ingredients and a desire to experiment, and with time, when their first child was on the way, they decided to seek funding to make the dream come true. Its philosophy is based on the joy of sharing good times. “Beer is the ultimate social lubricant”, says Guille. It's not about drinking for the sake of drinking, but to enjoy, to meet, to create community. And so they have done it for ten years in theirs taproom of Massanassa, a space where the beer is poured directly from the tanks, where creative dishes are offered every week and where customers are already more than customers, they are a big family. Most of them are parishioners, people who come back every week, they know each other and even sit together even though they arrive separately. An atmosphere that can only be created with years of dedication and passion.
He taproom open from Thursday to Saturday offering a selection of craft beers and dinners along with local products, like macerated torreznos or the best quality beef burgers. Every detail is designed to make the experience as special as the beer they serve. Dana hit the town hard and Alegria did not escape the disaster. But, far from giving up, Guille and his team went above and beyond to help the town. For two weeks, his premises became a supply center with more than 65 pallets of essential products. And when it was time to rebuild, they didn't wait for anyone: with friendships, clients and a lot of work, they refer the place. But it's not all mud and sweat. Five special beers have been born from the storm, each with a message and a reflection on post-Dana life. For example, Global alert, a cry to become aware of climate change; o thank you, a tribute to the solidarity they received firsthand.
