Oh! Culture

MAIN THEATER OF VALENCIA. boats, 15

Culture is being one of the sectors most affected by the COVID-19 crisis and we have to work to reactivate it, especially from public institutions, Which are the ones right now that have the muscle to do it?. In this sense, the Valencian Institute of Culture (IVC) has prepared a circus program, danza, cinema and live music in the three Valencian provinces that, in the case of Valencia, complements the feast of performing arts that will arrive shortly after with Sagunt a Escena. The Association of Circus Professionals of the Valencian Community (APCCV) will present a large-format show for all audiences with thirteen artists, live music, aerial numbers, trampoline, juggling and a lot of humor [23/7]. As for the dance, Pepa Cases will present on Friday 24/7 a program of four danced pieces by the companies Fil d'arena (Salt), Tide Dance (Relieves), Another dance (Clandestine) y Cienfuegos Dance (Tabula Rasa). And as a culmination, Saturday 25/7 music comes to the Teatre Principal de València with the concerts of Mireia Vives and Borja Penalba —winners at the Carles Santos Music Awards in the 2019 edition—, who will present their new album Songs to make way; and of The Deluge —also awarded at the Carles Santos Music Awards—with their folk festive that appeals to the construction of the community. Hence the title of his latest work, Get together, which comes in handy to encourage the joint reconstruction of a sector that is always fragile and so necessary... AU
