FROM WEDNESDAY 5 ON SUNDAY 23/11
NAVE 3 RIBS. Filipinas, s/n (Parc Central)
Within the framework of the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, the Nave cultural center 3 Ribes has prepared a program with women creators who represent female empowerment through culture. Music will become a speaker for feminism with Overpasses [23], a show of Triapason Producciones that covers the history of music from a critical and feminine perspective. The theater is put on by the migrant group Las Poderosas Theater con Our migrations [16], a piece that interweaves real testimonies about displacement, violence and hope; and Antonia Bueno with Yo, Clarita [22], a work that brings us closer to the figure of the defender of women's suffrage Clara Campoamor. For its side, Noelia Terrer, of Patriarchal Sins, will lead a new meeting of Women who comment [18], a space to debate and share feminist perspectives on cinema and television series. Finally, the movie club Wednesday of Stromboli —coordinated by the owner of the last video store in town, Dani Gascó— will project Gloria [5], a powerful story about resistance and survival that breaks gender stereotypes and puts a strong woman at the center, contradictory and free.
