Discontinuous garden

In the era of multinationals, local commerce claims its place. He does so with every right, so it is the shops that give character and identity to a neighborhood. From this empowerment of neighborhood culture arises a new initiative in the Barri del Mercat. Discontinuous garden is a participatory exhibition, open and evolving, in which shops exhibit native plants on their facades and offer their seeds to neighbors and passers-by to continue the garden on their balconies. They have drawn up a detailed plan with the 48 shops that open every day with the aim of creating a better neighbourhood, and they are getting it, so, as its motto says: "Let's plant Barri. Neighborhood and shopkeepers making the neighborhood green". GLORIA POZUELO
