FROM THURSDAY 27 ON SUNDAY 30/10
CARME CENTER. Museum, 2
In full "fashion" of throwing food against works of art to protest against climate inaction, the Carme Center is once again hosting this festival that aims to raise awareness of the climate emergency through art and culture. Cridem pel clima will be inaugurated with the screening of the film The lost one, followed by a col·loqui with his director Christophe Farnarier, film critic Daniel Gascó and environmental educator Sera Huertas. From here there will be a series of concerts by Laborde, Joe Pask, Marcel i Julia, Blue Boi, Tense, Always Palmer i Queralt Lahoz, which combines Latin and urban sounds with couplets and boleros. The Triangulist, the alter ego of Francesc Burgos (environmentalist by training), will present a unique proposal that mixes living arts, retrofuturistic technology and the reuse of objects, the urban artist Julieta Xlf will paint live a mural dedicated to the climate emergency. A cooking workshop will be held to promote a more sustainable diet and, as a novelty this year, there will be a market in the Gothic cloister of the old convent managed by the RS+ association. On the other hand, dialogue spaces will be created with talks and debates designed around the climate emergency and the future of food. Valencia calls for climate with culture! AU
