The independent edition, one that does not depend on large publishing groups subject to the interests of different pockets of power, suppose one 80% of the book sector that needs to be protected and stimulated. This is why the first Independent Publishing Fair was born, which will be held on the Veles e Vents esplanade with 69 exhibitors occupied by small but powerful publishing houses from the Valencian Community such as the mythical one Half Cow, shipyard (breaking expectations with Norway), Barlin Books, Sow Books, Off Route o link, i from outside with Antiperson, Txalaparta o Barrett (what's going to surprise you 2020 with Donkey Belly), bookstores like Bangarang o The First Books, and illustrators of the size ofElías Taño, which will have a space to exhibit self-published works such as painful, and fanzine with literary recommendations, interviews and articles that emphasize the field of good food in its number three, which will be presented by Ana Villalvilla, Beatriz León and the journalist and writer Lidia Caro. The Delivery Girl —in the midst of a campaign to raise money to build a common space, a new venue for critical thinking in Benimaclet—will present theIllustrated atlas of the Valencian regions, a book that was born thanks to micro patronage to treat in a playful and educational way the elements that make up Valencian identity and geography. L’editorial Graphite will present Refugio, a comic by Jose Fenollosa about the work done in animal shelters and how the adoption process works, wanted brings us the first BL (Boys Love) of Catalan literature and kidding will tell us about Valencian women who have made history and will promote the thriller funeral home Book of dead by Jordi Colonques. For its part, The Red Sheep it will make effective the feminist maxim that the personal is political by proposing a revolution from the affections, developed in the book Relational anarchy.
