The Antifascist Fallas are a creative and collective protest that pays tribute to those organized in 1937 the Association of Intellectuals for the Defense of Culture, directed at that time by Josep Renau. His intention was to use art as a propaganda strategy for the anfiscist cause., using these festivals as an instrument of vindication and popular criticism. And again the debate about the limits of humor, satire and freedom of expression is back on the table. He Tribal Collective In the last two years it has made some of its own failures with the aim of recovering that revolutionary spirit. And this edition they come back strong: on thursday 1/3 in October Contemporary Culture Center (Sant Ferran, 12) will be celebrated Days without gag where people from different fields will reflect on freedom of expression and forms of censorship. The event will end with a poetry jam by Voces del extreme. and on monday 19/3 in the Arrancapins fault (Villanueva i Gascon, 7) It will be the great cremà of a mobile sculpture, interactive and made with sustainable materials whose theme could not be other than the controversial Gag Law. Taking advantage of the embers, there will be a popular closing dinner, for all attendees! G.T.
