The campaign “this year, bark!” wants to revive Casca de Reis in all the Valencian regions. For that, We have researched its history, of his first written recipe (l’any 1520) to a handful of documents to this day. With this Taste it here wants to make it clear that the casca is documented by Maestrat in Alicante and is an ancestral Valencian sweet. Besides, and in collaboration with five establishments spread throughout the Valencian Country, we are running a campaign to popularize its consumption with handmade cardboard boxes designed by the illustrator from Xixon Sabina Alcaraz.
