The Platform for Urban Cultural Initiatives of Valencia (PICUV) was born the 2015 to bring together the most important festivals in the city, create synergies, make a common front against precariousness and claim their role in the social and cultural development of the neighborhoods that host them. Ja se sap, union is strength! Projects like those of Russafa Scenic (theater), Vociferio (poetry), Benimaclet Confusion (heterogeneous), Loops (dance) i MOV! (music) for years they have been embarassing the true cultural fabric of Valencia in front of the great events that one day waved on the seafront with a lot of a boat. And as a culmination, to close the season, PICUV organizes the third edition of these Meetings that have become a space for reflection on culture and artistic development in the city. This year we will talk about projects like Pobles in Little art, The Gastronomic Guide of Migrant Valencia which puts the recipes of our city's migrant kitchens on the map, Manufacturing laboratory of Benimaclet so that anyone can make almost anything, Make Your Life which encourages open design and recycling, i Pechakucha Valencia Night.
