shipyards 52 is a new project that opens its doors on Saturday 10 of March to contribute to the boom experienced by El Cabanyal-Canyamelar in recent years. It is located between Eugènia Vinyes Street and Doctor Lluch Park, behind La Carbonera, in the basement of a three-storey blue building where fishermen's nets used to be repaired. From now on it will be a socio-cultural and multifunctional space with three sides: one focused on tourists, another to companies and a third that will program cultural activities (own and others). Sunday 11/3, a day after the inauguration, starts the program with a vermouth session with DJ and from here on will come workshops of mindfulness, of driving drones, of macramé from the hand of the creative project Roda Artesania, wine tasting and a day with Dexde Design for development. They will also participate in the next edition of Intimate Cabanyal Festival and are in contact with the publishing house Drassana to organize with it presentations and workshops related to their cookbooks (Cabanyal's kitchen), with Zeta Beer to do beer tastings or with Ostrarium bar (Chile, 9), specialized in oysters and smoked meats, with whom they want to set up a gastronomic activity.
