Connecta Natura is a Valencian association with more than seven years of experience aims to raise awareness, recover Valencia's cultivated biodiversity and conserve wild biodiversity. Within its tasks of agro-ecological rural development and environmental didactics we find the project “Memory grafts: Learning from tradition to plan the future”, to recover traditional varieties of fruit trees that are in an accelerated process of disappearance. The goal is to create an arboretum (a collection of living trees), in their estate in Xinquer (Low Plain), that allows conserving the, preserve and reproduce them to give them a second chance in this context of climate change.
