Black Rooster Sound is a Mexican fusion group that bases its style on Peruvian cumbia and the inclusion of sounds and musical instruments from the seventies., covered in a psychedelic aesthetic. In 2026, after the release of the singles “La Cumbia del Gallo Negro” and “Suavecito”, The band released their long-awaited new album, Cumbiavision, the seventh in his fifteen years of experience. Cumbia sound, trap, exotic music, high energy and psychedelic exploration intertwine to shape a universe of its own, as festive as it is hypnotic. Just take a look at your list of collaborators, con Kid Congo Powers, La Changa Sound, Polymarchs, Jojo Abot, Butterflies of the Soul and Doris Anahí, to understand the expansive and multicultural nature of the project.
