Painting with pedestal, drawings and waste

SET SPAI OF ART. Pl. Miracle of the Handkerchief, 4

The artist Arancha Goyeneche (Santander, 1967) presents us with the interesting project Paint with pedestal, drawings and waste, in which reflects and makes the public reflect on the possibilities offered by the pictorial technique when it moves away from two-dimensionality which we are used to. We will verify that this can expand to the sculptural field by freeing itself from the wall. We will also see different definitions of the painting thanks to the countless perspectives it offers depending on its location or the lights/shadows that affect it and, lastly, presents conceptual works made up of materials from other works that the artist rejected and saved to give them this second chance.
