The Polytechnic University of Valencia has just turned fifty years old, l’VAT thirty and the La Nau Cultural Center twenty, and all three public institutions have not stopped allying and converging in recent times to celebrate their respective anniversaries. In company, which is always more fun. This time it is the UPV that invites the IVAM to deploy its funds in the halls of the Rectorate and the Faculty of Fine Arts, funds closely linked to the university itself. It's about 47 works done by 29 professors of Fine Arts and the Higher Technical School of Architecture who review five decades of Valencian art - from the years 70 to the present day− in the form of sculpture, photograph, painting and installations that are exhibited without a poster. the years 70 are represented by the geometric abstraction ofYturralde and feminist pop d’Angela García Codoñer, and the 80 for two fish of the great Angels Frame, to which the IVAM dedicated it in 2018 a retrospective. Sebastian Miralles i Navalon Nativity of the 90 i Jorge Ballester, Chema Lopez, Ruben Tortosa (with a piece of technological component) i Ramon Esteve (with two architectural models), ha from the 21st century, they are also part of the roster of artist-teachers who make up the magnificent IVAM collection.
