Tribute to Francisco J. Goerlich

VALENCIA CITY CITY EXHIBITION ROOM. Archbishop Mayoral, 1

The exhibition hall of the Valencia City Council hosts a tribute to Francisco Javier Goerlich Lleó until the end of the year (1886-1972), architect responsible for a large number of the buildings and interventions that today define the image of the city of Valencia. Some have been preserved, like the configuration of the Town Hall square, The current Talia Theater (former Social House of the Catholic Workers) or Avinguda de l'Oeste. Others have disappeared like the Flower Market and some have an uncertain future, such as the Metropol cinema or the Major Lluis Vives College. He also made projects that were never built, like his proposals for a central bus station. SNOWFLAKE
