Somni Produccions brings to Valencia its adaptation of’A Streetcar Named Desire, directed by Sergio Baos and starring Alexandra Colom, Marga Lopez, Rodo Gener and Joan Manel Vadell. Blanche arrives at the house of her sister Stella and her brother-in-law Stanley, a Nova Orleans, and their coexistence changes them forever. The most primal instincts dominate the demure Blanche and the rough Stanley, thus leaving it to be seen that, nor morality, nor the social class, they can with the attraction. The classic play by Tennessee Williams continues to fascinate us today because of the power struggle, classes i estatus, and the inherent fragility of the human being that it shows. INÉS LUJÁN
