Al centre, Salome, a fascinating and dangerous princess, object of the Narraboth Warden's desire. Under an innocent appearance, drags the story into a frenzy of desire and blood. Inspired by the biblical figure but filtered by the decadent imagination of Oscar Wilde, the opera Salome unfolds intense music, sensual and explosive with a final scene of striking power. Les Arts presents this year a staging created for a The Staircase of Milan under the direction of James Gaffigan, with Vida Miknevičiūtė, John Daszak, Michaela Schuster i Nicholas Brownlee.
