In emigrants, Cienfuegos Dance converts migration into a muscle in permanent contraction. A bodily record of what the borders want to delimit. This double program, formed by Loca y The Polka Dots, works as an emotional diptych. in one piece, three performers dynamite stereotypes and inherited social constructs; in the other, a solo exhibits the mutable memory of a body that decides to stop asking permission. There is no representation of the migration here., here it is perceived, is being judged, you stumble and breathe, forming a living archive as a wound and celebration of identity in the same choreography.
