Our modern Medea lives hidden in a basement until she flees a war-torn Ukraine with a Spanish soldier. La rep un Benidorm càlid, de platges poblades i ambient acollidor però, en arribar l’hivern, la gent desapareix, els carrers es buiden i la ciutat es transforma en un paisatge inhòspit i hostil. Besides, haurà de bregar amb una societat que la rebutja per la seua condició d’estrangera, i l’arriba a tractar de gitana i de bruixa. Jàson, qui un dia havia sigut el seu heroi, ha deixat de parar-li atenció per a dedicar-se a Creúsa. La relació acaba convertint-se en un triangle amorós tan tòxic que es precipitarà cap a un tempestuós final. GLORIA POZUELO
